Support resources
Written for Wessex Student Magazine
Navigating university life can be overwhelming, but having access to the right support resources can make all the difference. Students should bookmark links to essential services such as academic advising, which provides guidance on course selection and study strategies; mental health services, offering counselling and wellness programs; and the library website for access to research materials and study spaces. Additionally, connecting with student unions or associations can foster a sense of community, while career services help with internships and job placements. It’s also beneficial to keep links to financial aid offices for assistance with scholarships and budgeting tools, as well as IT support for tech-related issues. Having these resources readily available can empower students to thrive both academically and personally. Here are a few links to other resources which may come in handy during your time at university and beyond.
