Get involved with Wessex Student Magazine

Wessex Student Magazine, established in 1985, was formerly a printed magazine available in student common rooms across the Wessex region. It included news, events, stories, problem pages and a job section and had a readership of over 100,000 but with the advent of social media, we’ve taken it online to move with the times. AND WE WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF IT!

We’re looking for views, guides, gig and festival reviews, creative writings, art work, opinions and articles that will appeal to our site visitors so get in touch with anything you think your fellow students would like to read.

All views remain your own, we are the platform for getting your word out there and we have very few rules here, basically be nice to others, don’t perpetuate any form of hate speech, be inclusive and funny. We don’t mind real life language, just don’t direct any kind of hate or prejudice. Be honest in your reviews, tell us why you like or don’t like something and include photos if you can. Got a thought provoking poem or short story? We’d love to feature you and once you’re published, its a great addition to include on your CV.
